Bought a poly tunnel frame and cover. The cover will do as a spare for the existing PT and the frame (once covered with mesh) will be the new brassica cage. Doing it this way worked out less expensive than buying timber for a frame. The door is all re-purposed material.
Lasted over 13 years, the wood was rotting but snow finally finished it off.
Garlic didn't do so well outside this year, although tasty the cloves were too small to use for seed. Luckily the polytunnel bulbs were a good size and in the end we planted 171 cloves. Glad there was sufficient to continue the line which is 8th generation self saved, originally from supermarket stock
